You may ask yourself…”why isn’t Wiser playing that much”…well it’s time to record something.  Gonna lock ourselves in the warehouse and see what we can come up with.  This is gonna be fun.

FarmFest 450 was rad!

Thanks to Nick Leroy and his family for putting on the 2nd annual FarmFest 450!  We had a great time playing with our old friends Backyard Tire Fire, Jaik Willis, Chicago Farmer, Ernie Hendrickson and Miles Neilson.  Everybody seriously tore it up!  Thanks to Andy and Kyle who wowed the crowd with their light display and Neil and Tim for recoding the set.  You can check it out in it’s entirety on Archive.org.  Can’t wait for FamFest 2011!

Our next festie is Rossaroo in Woodland IL (near Champaign) on August 27th.  Gonna be an epic night with our good friends ZMICK.  Planning on all kinds of WISER-ZMCIK-WISER-ZMICK madness!  Debauchery begins at 8:30 on Friday.  Gates open at noon.  $40 for two days of music and camping.  Check out gigs page for a full schedule.  We’ll see you out there!

August Festies!

We’re super excited for the back end of summer!  We’ve gotta a few festivals coming up in August that are sure to be good time.  First up Duck Fest; 3 day camping extravaganza on the last weekend of July with good friends Jaik Willis, Zmick, The Coop, Thinner Teed and more!  Stay tuned for the announcement of what day Wiser plays but we’re told it will be under the stars!  The following Saturday is Farm Fest 450; one day of camping with good friends Backyard Tire Fire, Jaik Willis, Chicago Farmer, Erinie Hendrickson and Miles Neilson  Gonna be plenty of sit-ins fo sho.  Wiser closes the festival at 12:30 am.  Finally is Rossaroo; August 27th-28th, Wiser plays 8:30-10:00 followed by the Zmick boys.  Get out yer camping gear and get ready!

Thank you Funk You! Thirsty Thursdays Continue thru May…

Well we had a great time at Funk You 2010 this past weekend.  Thanks to everyone involved.  We can’t wait their second Fest of the year Duck Fest (last weekend of July)!  We continue our residency at The Store (2002 N. Halstad) at least through May, except for May 13th which will be a Funky Booster party at The Double Door.  We’ll be recording the Double Door show so there will be some fresh downloads shortly there after.  See you around!

Muncie Springfest this weekend!

HEYO!  We’re kicking of the 2010 festival season this weekend at Muncie Springfest in Muncie IN.  Other bands include Particle, Great American Taxi, UV Hippo, plus many more.  Wiser’s set is at 5:30 on Sunday.  We’ll be in Avon IN at Booney’s the following weekend for two nights in support of Garganta and Jassy Grazz.
